GF Piping Systems’ new cutting tool has been developed in collaboration with TRUMPF, one of the global leaders in power tools for industrial and construction sectors, to provide a comprehensive solution for installing distribution and cooling systems (ELGEF Plus, ecoFIT- und COOL-FIT) in their most-demanded dimensions. The mechanics of the saw unit (saw chain and blade) operate oil-free and thus prevents possible contamination in the subsequent welding zone. Due to the chosen design, large diff erent wall thicknesses are covered with a single solution. The low weight and packing volume allows transport and operation by only 1 person. One tool to serve all pipe sizes: Covers all dimensions of pipes from d250 to 1200mm (10” – 46”), including wall thickness variation from 10mm to180mm. Only 1 tool is required for the entire application range. This is a great advantage compared to other market solutions that require multiple tools to cover the same dimensional range.
